100 Notifiable conditions—Ministerial determination
(1) The Minister may determine—
(a) a disease or medical condition to be a notifiable condition; and
(b) a disease referred to in paragraph (a) to be a transmissible
notifiable condition.
(2) However, the Minister must not make a determination under
subsection (1) unless the Minister believes, on reasonable grounds,
that the determination is necessary to protect public health.

(4) A determination under subsection (1) is a disallowable instrument.
