60 Advisory Council members of Old Parliament House
(1) A person who was appointed as an Advisory Council member of Old Parliament House immediately before the transfer day is taken to have been appointed as a Board member of OPH under section 19 for the period: (a) beginning on 1 July 2016; and (b) ending on the earliest of the following: (i) the day that the person is appointed as a Board member under section 19 after the transfer day; (ii) the day that another person is appointed as a Board member under section 19 in replacement of the person after the transfer day; (iii) 31 December 2016. (2) The person who held the position of Chair of the Advisory Council immediately before the transfer day is taken to have been appointed as the Board Chair for the period that applies in respect of the person under subsection (1). (3) The person who held the position of Deputy Chair of the Advisory Council immediately before the transfer day is taken to have been appointed as the Deputy Chair of the Board for the period that applies in respect of the person under subsection (1).
