876 Section 120 120 Persons to whom Part applies This Part applies to a person if: (a) the person ceased to be an eligible employee because he or she has voluntarily terminated his or her employment in order to become: (i) a candidate for election as a member of a House of the Parliament of the Commonwealth or of a State or of the Legislative Assembly for the Northern Territory; or (ii) a candidate in an election that is prescribed under the Public Service Act for the purposes of section 32 of that Act; and (b) the termination took effect not earlier than 6 months before the day on which nominations for the election closed.
