#### 8 Election by spouse of deceased contributor to take pension benefit 8 Election by spouse of deceased contributor to take pension benefit > An election by the spouse of a deceased transferred contributor to take the benefit provided by clause 9 (2) of Schedule 6 to the Act or clause 11 (1) or 12 (1) of this Regulation shall be lodged at the office of the Board within the period of 3 months (or such further period as the Board may in special circumstances allow) that next succeeds the death of the transferred contributor.
