90 Notification of seizure of thing (1) The authorised officer who seizes the seized thing must, as soon as practicable after seizing it, give the person from whom it is seized written notice of the seizure. (2) The notification must include the following details: (a) a description of the thing; (b) the reason for seizing the thing; (c) details of the right to apply to the Local Court for the return of the thing under section 92; (d) if the thing has been removed from the place where it was seized – the address of the place where the thing is held; (e) if applicable – the name of the enforcement agency under whose authority the authorised officer is acting.
