12 Grant or refusal of registration (1) The CHO must consider the application and decide whether to register the business. (2) The CHO must register the business if satisfied the proprietor will: (a) carry out the declared activity in a proper way; and (b) conduct the business in accordance with its registration and this Act. (3) The CHO must give the proprietor the following: (a) written notice of the CHO's decision; (b) if the CHO registers the business – a registration notice for the business; (c) if the CHO refuses to register the business – written notice of: Public and Environmental Health Act 2011 9
