40 Payments inalienable
(1) A right (if any) to receive a payment under the Public and Educational Lending Rights Scheme is absolutely inalienable, whether by way of, or in consequence of, assignment, charge, execution, bankruptcy or otherwise.
(2) This section is subject to section 41.
