31 Transfer does not affect employment continuity (1) This section applies to a transfer of— (a) an employee of a public service body— (i) to other duties in a public service body; or (ii) to duties in another public service body or a public entity; or (b) an employee of a public entity to duties in a public service body. (2) This section applies whether the transfer is made under section 28, 29 or 30 or at the initiative of the employee or otherwise. (3) The transfer of the employee does not constitute a resignation or termination of employment and the post-transfer service is to be regarded as continuous with the pre-transfer service.
