4Interpretation

#### 4 Interpretation In this Act, unless the contrary intention appears: > Audit Office means the Australian National Audit Office established by section 38 of the Auditor‑General Act 1997. > Auditor‑General means the Auditor‑General for the Commonwealth referred to in section 7 of the Auditor‑General Act 1997. > Chair means the Chair of the Committee. > Deputy Chair means the Deputy Chair of the Committee. > Finance Minister means the Minister who administers the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013. > Independent Auditor means the Independent Auditor referred to in section 41 of the Auditor‑General Act 1997. > member means a member of the Committee. > the Committee means the Joint Committee of Public Accounts and Audit for the time being constituted under this Act.
