2 Commencement
(1) This Act shall come into operation on a date to be fixed by Proclamation. (2) The date fixed under subsection (1) shall not be a date earlier than the date on which the International Convention Relating to Intervention on the High Seas in Cases of Oil Pollution Casualties comes into force for Australia.
