#### 27 Simplified outline The following is a simplified outline of this Chapter: (a) the 1992 Fund is liable to provide compensation for certain oil pollution damage (Part 3.5); (b) certain persons who receive oil in Australian ports and terminals are liable to contribute to the 1992 Fund (Part 3.6); (c) the Australian Maritime Safety Authority is empowered to collect information about contributors and give the information to the 1992 Fund (Part 3.6).
