7 Application of Part
Subject to this Division, this Part applies to: (a) pollution damage occurring in Australia or the exclusive economic zone of Australia; and (b) preventive measures, wherever they are taken, to prevent or minimise pollution damage occurring in Australia or the exclusive economic zone of Australia.
Note: This Part also applies in relation to the coastal sea of Australia and an external Territory: see section 15B of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901.
