#### 94 Objectives of Upper Hunter monitoring program 94 Objectives of Upper Hunter monitoring program > The objectives of the Upper Hunter monitoring program are as follows— > > > (a) to provide government, industry and the community with reliable and up-to-date information on air quality in the Muswellbrook, Singleton and Upper Hunter Shire local government areas, > > > (b) to enable the air quality in the areas to be assessed against relevant air pollution standards, > > > (c) to facilitate the identification of sources of air pollution in the areas, > > > (d) to facilitate the development and implementation of strategies to improve air quality in the areas.
