#### 26 Exemption for approved courses—dental assistants 26 Exemption for approved courses—dental assistants > > (1) This section applies to a person who is undertaking a course relating to requirements for employment as a dental assistant approved by the Authority under section 30 as a course required for this exemption. > > > (2) The person is exempt from the requirement to hold a radiation user licence under the Act, section 7 when using apparatus to which this subdivision applies for the course if, when using the apparatus, the person is subject to the following supervision— > > > > > (a) during the person’s clinical experience—immediate supervision, > > > > > (b) otherwise—general supervision.
