#### 24 Exemption for dental students 24 Exemption for dental students > > (1) This section applies to a person who is a student in the dental health profession. > > > (2) The person is exempt from the requirement to hold a radiation user licence under the Act, section 7 for the use of apparatus to which this subdivision applies in the course of studying if, at all times when using the apparatus, the person is subject to the following supervision— > > > > > (a) during the person’s clinical experience—immediate supervision, > > > > > (b) otherwise—general supervision. > > > (3) In this section— > > > > student has the same meaning as in the [Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (NSW)](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2009-86a).
