9 Payment of maintenance
(1) An amount of money required to be paid under a maintenance order must be paid to—
(a) the registrar of the Local Court, or
(b) a person specified by order of the Local Court.
(2) As soon as practicable after receiving payment of an amount of money under a maintenance order, the registrar of the Local Court or specified person must remit the money to the person in whose favour the order was made.
