258 Assurance by a tenant in tail to be inoperative unless acknowledged No assurance by which any disposition of land is effected under this Part (except a lease for any term not exceeding twenty-one years to commence from the date of such lease or from any time not exceeding twelve calendar months from the date of such lease, where a rent is thereby reserved which at the time of granting such lease is a rack rent or not less than five-sixth parts of a rack rent) shall have any operation under this Part, unless it be acknowledged as in this Part directed within six months after the execution thereof.
