15 Commencement of schemes
(1) A scheme published in the Gazette with the authorisation of the Minister commences –
(a) [Section 15 Subsection (1) amended by No. 49 of 2016, s. 11, Applied:24 Nov 2016] on such day subsequent to the date of its publication as may be specified in the scheme; or
(b) if no such day is specified, 2 months after the date of its publication.
(2) [Section 15 Subsection (2) amended by No. 49 of 2016, s. 11, Applied:24 Nov 2016] This section is subject to any order of the Supreme Court under section 16 and any order made by the Supreme Court of another jurisdiction under the corresponding law of that jurisdiction.
(3) [Section 15 Subsection (3) inserted by No. 49 of 2016, s. 11, Applied:24 Nov 2016] In this section, a reference to a scheme includes, in the case of an interstate scheme, a reference to an instrument amending that scheme.
