38 Secretary must give copies of notices to applicants

(1) If the Secretary publishes on the Department’s website under this Part any of the following notices in relation to an exemption, the Secretary must give a copy of the notice to the applicant for the exemption, if reasonably practicable: (a) a notice granting, varying, suspending or revoking the exemption; (b) a notice ending a suspension of the exemption. (2) A failure to comply with subsection (1) does not affect the validity of the exemption, variation, suspension, revocation or ending of the suspension.
