Plain English Summary

This proclamation fixes 1 January 2003 as the day the Security and Investigations Agents Act 2002 begins to operate in Tasmania. The Governor, on Executive Council advice, made the declaration under section 2; the proclamation itself does not change the Act’s text — it simply brings the Act into effect, so any compliance duties or costs arise from the Act once it commences.
