Tasmania regulation
This proclamation dedicates specified Crown land as highway and reclassifies named road segments: some stretches cease to be State highways or subsidiary roads, while other stretches are declared State highways or subsidiary roads (with precise lengths and locations listed and shown on plans). It affects road users, adjacent landowners, the Department of State Growth and relevant local authorities. The stated aim is administrative clarity; mechanically it changes which agency decides, funds and maintains each listed segment and requires stakeholders to follow the new classifications and gazetted plans.
