Proclamation under the Electricity Reform (Implementation) Act 2013 (Tasmania)

Mechanically, this proclamation fixes 1 June 2013 as the day the Electricity Reform (Implementation) Act 2013 begins to operate in Tasmania, so the Act’s legal obligations and powers take effect from that date. It was made by the Governor with the Executive Council’s advice, signed by the Minister for Energy and Resources, and is administered by the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources—so entities covered by the Act become subject to its rules from 1 June 2013.
