This proclamation fixes 28 February 2018 as the day that specified provisions of the Children, Young Persons and Their Families Amendment Act 2013 come into force in Tasmania. It does not change the Act itself, only when those sections start to apply.

The change affects children, young people, families and the public agencies governed by the Act by activating the rights, duties or powers created in the listed provisions; those parties will face any compliance, administrative or operational effects once the sections commence.
