Part 2—Sanctuary Area Zone (IUCN Category Ia ‑ Strict Nature Reserve)

All of that area within the Tasman Sea contained within and bounded as follows*:

(i) commencing at the point of latitude 40 degrees 21 minutes 15 seconds south, longitude 148 degrees 58 minutes 48 seconds east; (ii) then north‑easterly along the geodesic to the intersection of the parallel of latitude 38 degrees 57 minutes south, with the outer limit of the exclusive economic zone**; (iii) then generally south‑westerly along the outer limit of the exclusive economic zone to its intersection with the parallel of latitude 40 degrees 1 minute 15 seconds south; (iv) then south‑westerly along the geodesic to the point of latitude 40 degrees 47 minutes 15 seconds south, longitude 148 degrees 51 minutes 33 seconds east; and (v) then northerly along the geodesic to the point of commencement.
