#### 243 Use of equipment to examine or process things
(1) The \*executing officer or \*person assisting may bring to the \*premises any equipment reasonably necessary to examine or process a thing found at the premises in order to determine whether it may be seized under the \*search warrant in question or it is a thing that suggests the existence of a \*digital asset that may be \*seized under the search warrant in question.
(2) The \*executing officer or a \*person assisting may operate equipment already at the \*premises to carry out such an examination or processing if he or she believes on reasonable grounds that:
(a) the equipment is suitable for this purpose; and
(b) the examination or processing can be carried out without damaging the equipment or thing.
