#### 194 Protection of approved examiner etc. (1) The \*approved examiner has, in the performance of his or her duties as an approved examiner, the same protection and immunity as a Justice of the High Court. (2) A \*lawyer appearing at the \*examination: (a) on behalf of the person being examined; or (b) as or on behalf of the \*responsible authority; has the same protection and immunity as a barrister has in appearing for a party in proceedings in the High Court. (3) Subject to this Act, the person being \*examined: (a) has the same protection; and (b) in addition to the penalties provided by this Act, is subject to the same liabilities; as a witness in proceedings in the High Court.
