### 38 Period for issue of grant > > (1)  Unless otherwise ordered by the Court or a judge, no grant will be issued until 14 days after the death of the deceased. > > > (2)  If an application for a grant is made, for the first time, more than 2 years after the date of the deceased's death, the applicant for the grant must include, in the affidavit supporting the application for the grant, the following matters: > > > > > > (a) an inventory of assets and liabilities of the deceased's estate at the time of the deceased's death; > > > > > > > (b) an inventory of assets and liabilities of the deceased's estate at the date of the making of the application; > > > > > > > (c) the reasons why an application in respect of the deceased has not been made previously; > > > > > > > (d) the reasons why the application is now being made.
