18Priority of persons entitled to apply for letters of administration with will annexed

### 18 Priority of persons entitled to apply for letters of administration with will annexed > Subject to [rule 20](#GS20@EN) , the person or persons entitled to apply for letters of administration with the will annexed are to be determined in accordance with the following order of priority: > > > > (a) a trustee of the residuary estate; > > > > > (b) a beneficiary of the residuary estate; > > > > > (c) a person entitled to all or part of the residuary estate by intestacy or partial intestacy; > > > > > (d) a beneficiary of a specific or pecuniary legacy; > > > > > (e) a personal representative of a beneficiary of the residuary estate; > > > > > (f) a person appointed by the Court, a judge or the Registrar, including a creditor of the deceased's estate.
