#### 169 Statements to accompany notification of decisions
(1) If a reviewable decision is made and written notice of the decision is given to a person affected by the decision, the notice is to include a statement to the effect that:
(a) the person may, if dissatisfied with the decision, seek a reconsideration of the decision by APRA in accordance with subsection 168(2); and
(b) a person whose interests are affected by the decision may, subject to the Administrative Review Tribunal Act 2024, if dissatisfied with a decision made by APRA upon that reconsideration confirming or varying the first‑mentioned decision, apply to the Administrative Review Tribunal for a review of the decision so confirmed or varied.
(2) If APRA confirms or varies a decision under subsection 168(4) and gives to a person written notice of the confirmation or variation of the decision, the notice is to include a statement to the effect that a person whose interests are affected by the decision may, subject to the Administrative Review Tribunal Act 2024, if dissatisfied with the decision so confirmed or varied, apply to the Administrative Review Tribunal for review of the decision.
(3) A failure to comply with subsection (1) or (2) of this section in relation to a decision does not affect the validity of the decision.
