6 Meaning of medical device
This section is made for the purposes of paragraph 72-11(1)(b) of the Act. A medical device includes any implant, material, or other article that:
was listed in Part D of the former Prescribed List; and is not covered by paragraph 72-11(1)(a) or (c) of the Act.
A medical device includes any implant, material or other article that is comparable to any implant, material or other article that is specified in subsection (2).
