333‑1 Delegation by Minister (1) The Minister may, by writing, delegate all or any of his or her functions or powers under this Act (other than section 66‑10) to: (a) the Secretary of the Department; or (b) an SES employee, or acting SES employee, in the Department. (2) Without limiting subsection (1), the Minister may, by writing, delegate all or any of his or her functions or powers under Part 2‑2 or Part 6‑4 to: (a) the Chief Executive Medicare; or (b) a Departmental employee (within the meaning of the Human Services (Medicare) Act 1973); or (c) an APS employee in the Department. (3) In performing a function or exercising a power under a delegation, the delegate must comply with any directions of the Minister.
