#### 36 Overcrowding 36 Overcrowding > > (1) The licensee of a private health facility must not cause or permit the number of patients accommodated at any one time in a ward of the facility to exceed the number of patients specified in the licence in relation to that ward of the facility. > > > > Maximum penalty—1,000 penalty units. > > > (2) The licensee is not guilty of an offence under this section in respect of anything done in an emergency.
