11 Exceptions to National Privacy Principle 7.2—Centrelink Confirmation eServices (Superannuation Confirmation)

For paragraph 7.2(c) of the National Privacy Principles: (a) an organisation mentioned in Schedule 5 is a prescribed organisation; and (b) a Customer Reference Number is a prescribed identifier; and (c) the prescribed circumstance is that the Customer Reference Number is used or disclosed by a prescribed organisation mentioned in Schedule 5, with the consent of the individual concerned, to access Centrelink Confirmation eServices for the purpose of making a Superannuation Confirmation enquiry to assist in determining whether the individual is entitled to the early release of superannuation on the ground of financial hardship.
