23 Spending of amounts paid under subsection 36(1) or (2) of the Act

(1) For the purposes of paragraph 36(4)(c) of the Act, expenditure by the Fisheries Research and Development Corporation of the amounts paid under subsection 36(1) of the Act is to be for the benefit of the fishing industry (except any declared fishery). (2) For the purposes of paragraph 36(4)(c) of the Act, expenditure by the Fisheries Research and Development Corporation of the amounts paid under subsection 36(2) of the Act is to be for the benefit of the farmed prawn industry.
