23K Holder of approval to notify users of revocation of approval

(1) If an approval is revoked under regulation 23J, the holder of the approval must notify the following persons of the revocation in writing no later than 30 days after the day on which the revocation takes effect—

(a) each person to whom the electronic collar system has been sold, hired or supplied;

(b) any other person the holder of the approval believes to be responsible for the use of the electronic collar system on cattle.

(2) The holder of the approval, by written notice, must notify the Minister that it has complied with subregulation (1) no later than 30 days after the day on which the revocation takes effect under regulation 23J.

(3) If the Minister has not received a notice in accordance with subregulation (2), the Minister must—

(a) by notice in writing, take reasonable steps to notify all users of the electronic collar system of the revocation as soon as it is reasonably practicable; and

(b) as soon as practicable, publish notice of the revocation in a newspaper circulating generally in Victoria.
