58 Notification of resignation (1) A person who resigns as attorney for a matter under this Division must take reasonable steps to inform the following persons of the resignation— (b) any other attorney and any alternative attorney under the enduring power of attorney. (2) A person who resigns as alternative attorney for a matter under this Division must take reasonable steps to inform the following persons of the resignation— (b) any attorney under the enduring power of attorney. (3) A failure by the attorney or alternative attorney to give a notification under this section does not affect the validity of the resignation of the attorney.
