50 Notification of revocation (1) On revoking an enduring power of attorney under this Division, the principal must take reasonable steps to inform any attorneys under the power that it has been revoked. (2) On revoking the appointment of an attorney or alternative attorney under this Division, the principal must take reasonable steps to inform that attorney or alternative attorney and all other attorneys and alternative attorneys under the power that the appointment has been revoked. (3) A failure by the principal to give a notification under this section does not affect the validity of the revocation. (4) For the purpose of subsections (1) and (2), reasonable steps may include sending the notification by post to— (a) for an individual, the last known residential address of the individual; or (b) for a body corporate, the last known business address of the body corporate.
