58 Enduring power of attorney sometimes revoked by
marriage, civil union or civil partnership
(1) This section applies to an enduring power of attorney if—
(a) a person is appointed as attorney under the power of attorney;
and
(b) after the appointment, the principal marries or enters into a civil
union or civil partnership with a person other than the attorney.
(2) The enduring power of attorney is revoked in relation to the attorney
unless the power of attorney expressly states that it is not revoked in
the circumstances.
