9 Agreements with port operators or port lessees (1) The Territory or, with the consent of the Minister, any other public sector entity may enter into one or more agreements in relation to the operation of a designated port with an entity that is the port operator or port lessee of the port. (2) An agreement entered into under subsection (1) may: (a) deal with a specific subject matter related to the operation of the designated port; and (b) contain terms or conditions of any kind; and (c) describe itself as a port operating agreement for this Act.
