84 Reviews of decisions under this Division (1) This section applies to any of the following decisions of a pilotage authority in relation to a person: (a) a refusal to issue or renew a pilotage licence or pilotage exemption certificate; (b) a decision to specify or vary a condition of a pilotage licence or pilotage exemption certificate; (c) a decision to suspend or cancel a pilotage licence or pilotage exemption certificate. (2) The pilotage authority must, as soon as practicable after making the decision, give written notice of it to the person specifying: (b) that the person has a right to have the decision reviewed by the Tribunal; and (c) if the pilotage licence or pilotage exemption certificate is cancelled – that the person must surrender the licence or certificate to the pilotage authority within the period specified in the notice. (3) If the notice requires a person to surrender the licence or certificate to the pilotage authority as mentioned in subsection (2)(c), the person must not contravene the requirement.
