82 Inquiry into misconduct by licensed pilot (1) The Minister may, at the request of a pilotage authority, appoint a person to conduct an inquiry into whether a licensed pilot: (a) is unfit to discharge his or her duties; or (b) has been seriously negligent in the discharge of his or her duties; or (c) has repeatedly failed to comply with requests made to him or her by the pilotage authority under this Act. (2) If the pilotage authority is of the opinion that it is desirable to do so, it may suspend the pilotage licence held by the licensed pilot pending the outcome of the inquiry.
