63 Definition vessel includes an off-shore industry mobile unit as defined in section 7(1) of the Marine Act 1981, but does not include: (a) a vessel propelled by oars; or (b) an air-cushioned vehicle as defined in section 7(1) of the Marine Act 1981; or (c) in relation to a particular pilotage area – a vessel or a class of vessel that is prescribed by regulation as an exempt vessel for that area.
