14 Hydrographic surveys (1) A port operator of a designated port may carry out hydrographic surveys within the port. (2) The power conferred by subsection (1) is subject to the port operator holding any authorisation for carrying out the survey required under any law of the Territory or the Commonwealth. (3) The port operator must give the regional harbourmaster for the designated port any information derived from a hydrographic survey that is relevant to the function of the regional harbourmaster under section 21.
