#### 51 Offences—failure to comply with directions or requirements (1) A person who contravenes subsection 36(3) commits an offence punishable, on conviction, by a fine not exceeding 50 penalty units. (2) A person who contravenes subsection 43(4) commits an offence punishable, on conviction, by a fine not exceeding 50 penalty units. (3) Subsection (1) or (2) does not apply if the person has a reasonable excuse. > Note: A defendant bears an evidential burden in relation to the matter in subsection (3), see subsection 13.3(3) of the Criminal Code.
