49 Restriction about access to application about entry in register (1) This section applies to: (a) a proceeding on an application under section 46 or 47 for an order to make or cancel an entry in a register of births, deaths and marriages; and (b) an order in a proceeding mentioned in paragraph (a). (2) A person is not entitled to search information in the custody of a court in relation to the proceeding unless a Supreme Court Judge otherwise orders in the interests of justice. (3) In addition, a person must not publish a report of the proceeding.
