61 Code of behaviour—the Act, s 211B

(1) The code of behaviour regarding the consumption of alcohol and the use of prohibited drugs and steroids by members of the NSW Police Force is set out in Schedule 3.

(2) A member of the NSW Police Force—

(a) must treat all information relating to the results of a test conducted under the Act, section 211A or 211AA or this part coming to the member’s knowledge in an official capacity as confidential, and

(b) must not disclose the information, except—

(i) for the Act, Part 9, or

(ii) in connection with the assessment, counselling or rehabilitation of the police officer to whom the information relates under this part.

(3) A breach of the code of behaviour does not constitute an offence.
