15 Loss or damage of police uniform and equipment
(1) A police officer is responsible for the care and safekeeping of all articles of police uniform and equipment given to the officer.
(2) A police officer is responsible for damage to, or the loss of, each article of uniform or equipment caused by the officer’s neglect or lack of safekeeping.
(3) The Commissioner may require a police officer to pay the cost of replacement of an article of police uniform or equipment that is damaged or lost as a result of the police officer’s neglect or lack of safekeeping.
