118 Special leave generally

(1) Special leave on full pay must be granted to a NSW Police Force senior executive—

(a) for the purpose of attending any examination under the Act or this regulation, and

(b) up to a maximum of 5 days in any one year—for the purpose of attending any other examination approved by the Commissioner for the purposes of this paragraph.

(2) Special leave granted under subsection (1) must include leave for necessary travel to or from the place at which the examination is held.

(3) Special leave on full pay may be granted to a NSW Police Force senior executive for other purposes and during any periods and subject to any conditions as determined by the Commissioner from time to time.
