111 Payment during initial period of service

(1) A NSW Police Force senior executive must not be granted more than 5 days sick leave on full pay during the first 3 months of service unless the senior executive gives the Commissioner a satisfactory medical certificate in relation to each absence.

(2) If a NSW Police Force senior executive takes sick leave without pay during the senior executive’s first 3 months of service, on completion of the senior executive’s first 12 months of service payment may be made to the senior executive for any portion of sick leave taken without pay that, with the addition of all sick leave on full pay granted during that period of 12 months, is not more than a total of 15 working days.
