Tasmania regulation
These regulations declare which state, territory and Commonwealth statutes count as “corresponding laws” for the Police Powers (Controlled Operations) Act 2006, so controlled‑operation powers and authorisations can be recognised across jurisdictions. They commence on Gazette notification, rescind two earlier corresponding‑laws instruments, and are administered by the Department of Justice; the primary practical effect is to clarify which external statutes law enforcement agencies must treat as matching the Commonwealth regime.
